Automatic voltage controller improves the system efficiency and power quality by automatically monitoring and controlling busbars, transformers, and tertiary reactors.
The regulator and Buck / Boost transformer are oil cooled, housed in steel tanks. The coils of voltage regulator and Boost Transformers are vacuum impregnated, oven dried, wound with electrolytic copper to minimize copper losses. Boost transformer is CRGO laminated to reduce iron losses. Tanks are made of M.S. Sheets with adequate bracing. Radiators and Cooling ducts are provided for effective cooling.
The voltage controller ensures the smooth operation of motor drawing 15-20% lesser current with respect to reduction of relay setting.
